After weeks of speculation, CM Punk officially debuted with AEW at the August 20th edition of AEW Rampage in Chicago, IL. Punk made his entrance at the start of the show and then cut a promo. He’s now ‘All Elite CM Punk’.

    Punk has been dropping teasers on his official Instagram all week, and with under an hour to go until the big event Punk once again dropped more hints during Smackdown.

    CM Punk talked about needing to feel the energy from the fans again. Punk sat down and talked about his career… in typical CM Punk fashion.

    “I was never going to get healthy staying in the place that got me sick in the first place”

    “August 13th, 2005, I left professional wrestling. August 20th, 2021, I’m back.”

    Punk ended the promo by challenging Darby Allin to a match at AEW All Out on September 5th in Chicago. Darby, seemingly accepted, whilst in the rafters. All Elite Wrestling has Elite CM Punk.

    CM Punk cut one of the most emotional promos in wrestling history tonight as he made his AEW debut at Rampage: The First Dance.
