Following Warner Bros.’ announcement that it was closing down Eagle Teeth, many inquiries concerning the company’s properties surfaced, particularly in relation to Red Vs Blue. Following a four-year break, co-creator Bernie Burns and director Matt Hullum decided to give the online series—which was essentially the catalyst for the company’s inception—one last go-around. However, the publication of the series was called into question as WB chose to shut everything down, and there were worries it might turn out like Coyote vs. ACME. Completed and scheduled for a spring release, but shelved or destroyed.
Fortunately, WB made the right decision and opted to release Red Vs. Blue: Restoration, the series’ last chapter. The last installment of the venerable franchise will be released as a single, 87-minute film on May 7 for $15 digital buy or $5 per rental on May 21. As we see the team gradually wrap up this one, enjoy this teaser trailer for the next installment.
