On February 9, 2022, Nintendo Direct, focused on its exclusives. This would be the first one of 2022 and Nintendo had a jammed-packed reveal to kick off the year. The show would include new games that will be on their way to Switch.
Mario Kart Deluxe:
Mario Kart will be receiving a new DLC which will include 48 new tracks that will allow the player to be paid up till 2023. Mario Kart 8: Deluxe Booster Course Pass will cost $24.99 USD and will be free to all members of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
Mario Strikers:
The game will be returning to switch with Mario Strikers Battle League. This will allow 5 versus 5. Players will be able to activate and use special items.
Mario Strikers: Battle League will be available on June 10, 2022.
Splatoon 3’s New Salmon Run Mode:
A new version of Salmon Run Mode will be available for Splatoon 3 sometime this summer. The mod is still co-op.
Metroid Dread:
Will have a free update.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3:
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be released in September 2022. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be a new story that interfaces the fates of both Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Nintendo Direct: Confirmed Release Dates
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes: Will be released on Switch on June 24, 2022.
A remastered version of Chrono Cross will be on Nintendo Switch on April 7, 2022.
Nintendo Switch Sports will be available on April 29, 2022.
Triangle Strategy will be released on Nintendo Switch on March 4, 2022, and the demo is available today.
Both remakes for Front Mission and Front Mission 2 were announced.
Earthbound and Earthbound Beginnings will be available for Nintendo Switch Online Today.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land’s release date is March 25, 2022.
Advance Wars 1 + 2 Re-Boot Camp will be released on April 8, 2022.
Valve’s Portal 1 & 2 will both be available for Nintendo Switch in 2022.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is headed to Switch on April 20, 2022.
Disney Speedstorm Racing on to Switch will have both Disney and Pixar Characters. It will support cross-platform play.
DLC for Cuphead – The Delicious Last Course – will be released on June 30, 2022.
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection will be available on Switch on February 17, 2022.
Cloud version of the Kingdom Hearts will be arriving on Nintendo Switch on February 10, 2022. You will also be able to purchase all three games.
