On February 10, 2021 Impact Wrestling announced their new show Before the Impact.
The show will debut on February 16. BTI will include more interviews with Impact talent and exclusives every week. The show will air on AXS TV before the weekly Impact Wrestling episode.
The show will be produced by Josh Matthews, a long time employee of Impact Wrestling and is known for being the former commentator for the promotion.
The team will include Matthews, Jon Burton, and Gia Miller. Jon Burton is a Nashville-based sportscaster for News Channel 5 and has contributed to Impact Wrestling. Burton contains a strong knowledge of Impact Wrestling and will add to the promotion’s growing expansion in pro-wrestling. Gia Miller is one of the most proficient backstage reporters of Impact Wrestling. She is a fan favorite and is very knowledgeable in the industry and has pro-wrestling training.
