Another Bound for Glory went in the books on Saturday 24 October, live on both Fite TV and Premier sports. We had new champions, surprise returns and much more, but now the questions are being asked. What’s next for Impact Wrestling now that their biggest event of the year is once again in the history books? There are so many possibilities as to where Impact could be heading now and with the latest set of television tapings currently underway at Skyway Studios in Nashville Tennessee, anything could happen. So here are just a few possibilities that we may or may not see take place on IMPACT.

During Bound for Glory it was announced that on January 16 2021 Hard To Kill will be the next major event to take place under the IMPACT banner. To add to this announcement, Josh Mathews announced that at Hard to Kill, The Knockouts Tag Team Championships will be making their return so expect to see quite a lot of build featuring the current knockouts and there could even be some new additions. Nothing has been revealed as to how the decisions of who will be competing at Hard To Kill for the returning championships. Fans of course have been speculating about the possibility of a tournament just like there was when the titles were first announced during the TNA days.

The returning Knockouts tag team titles weren’t the only major thing to take place at Bound for Glory. Rhino won the call your shot gauntlet which not only secured him an opportunity at a championship of his choice. But it also secured Heath a contract with Impact Wrestling, after the show rumours surfaced that Heath was originally scheduled to win the event but due to Heath picking up an unfortunate injury, meaning Rhino was chosen to win the match. If this is indeed true then maybe the possibility of a Heath heel turn on Rhino could be in the cards, so at Hard to Kill should Heath be cleared we could See Heath vs Rhino fighting for the Call your shot trophy. That could lead to a potential X division or even World championship run for the man with no last name.

During the gauntlet, there were three surprise entrants, The Cowboy James Storm, Swoggle and at number two was the former X Division champion Daivari. So now there has been some speculation among Impact fans that the former champion might be sticking around, if so a lot of people are wondering whether he may start a programme with the current X Division champion Rohit Raju, so who knows what may on Impact.

Also at Bound for Glory, we were surprised with the return of Su Yung as she took the spot in the Knockouts championship vacated by Kylie Rae. Not only did SU return, but she also defeated Deonna Purrazzo and became the new Impact Knockouts Championship. Now Kylie is still technically number one contender for the Knockouts Championship, and given the history between Kylie and the alter ego of SU it wouldn’t be so surprised to see Kylie back and going after the new Knockouts champion.

In the main event of the biggest show of the year, Rich Swann finally accomplished his dream of becoming a World Champion of a major promotion, by defeating the world-class maniac Eric Young for the IMPACT World championship. It would be safe to say that the former world champion Eric Young will want to get back his World championship, so maybe we could see the anticipated rematch between the world champion Rich Swann and the world-class maniac Eric Young in the main event of Hard To Kill. Also, there is the distinct possibility of Rich’s best friend and former X division Champion, Willie Mack doing something that a lot of fans have been speculating about ever since last years Hard To Kill event. Turning on his best friend Rich Swann and challenging him for the Impact World championship.

So what is next for IMPACT? Well the possibilities are seemingly endless in terms of booking. We are now back on the road and heading for Hard To Kill, will everyone who became champions at Bound for Glory by the time we get there? The upcoming television tapings are the only way those questions can be answered so tune in at 10 pm every Wednesday night on Free Sports and catch the replay of Bound For Glory on Fite TV.
