MANCHESTER, UK – Beer Money (James Storm and Bobby Roode) are one of wrestling’s most popular tag teams. Former TNA World Tag Team Champions and individually both former TNA World Heavyweight Champions, they took some time during a media event to speak to TWM News about this week’s TNA Maximum Impact 8 Tour, hitting Manchester, Birmingham and London.
“We can’t wait. The UK fans are awesome” said Storm “Everytime we come here it’s awesome. The fans appreciate our work, and it’s awesome to perform in arenas with 15,000 people and everybody is there to have a good time”.
Bobby Roode echoed his partners’ sentiment, stating “There’s been times when we’ve wrestled in these big arenas, and the crowd just sits on their hands. We know that’s not gonna happen here, and that’s why we love coming here to perform for the fans as much as they love coming to see us”
Joining Beer Money on TNA’s UK tour are the likes of Kurt Angle, Bobby Lashley, Matt Hardy, EC3 and more. Alongside the stars of TNA are 3 of the UK’s hottest stars in Jimmy Havoc, Big Damo and the awesome Will Ospreay. When asked if they know what to expect from the trio, Roode said “Although I’ve not seen much of their work, I know they’ve all got great reputations and I’m sure they’ll bring it”
Storm added “I’ve wrestled on shows with both Big Damo and Will Ospreay and they’re both incredible athletes, so I can’t wait to see what they do when they get in that ring”
