Slipknot has announced a brand new UK and European tour, Slipknot 2024, to celebrate 25 years as a band.

    Metal legends Slipknot, headed by Corey Taylor, will kick off the European tour at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam next December before heading across the continent for dates in Germany, France and Switzerland, before wrapping up at London’s O2 Arena. They’ll also play other venues across the UK including the brand new Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on December 17, 2024.

    Speaking about the upcoming shows, Shawn Crahan, known as ‘Clown’ said: “It has been 25 years since we first played on the continent, and we’ve been back ever since. The memories I have from all those times are life-changing, and we’re ready to make more.

    “I’m so excited to bring our 25th-anniversary tour to Europe and the UK. Be prepared for an energy you’ve never experienced before. It’s happening.”

    Slipknot released their debut self-titled studio album in June 1999, contributing to a seismic shift in the music landscape and defining a metal culture that has grown around the world. In the 25 years since Slipknot’s dedication to their music and their fans remains at the core of their mission.

    Since forming, the musical masters have won a Grammy Award as well as ten nominations and logged over 8.5 billion global streams and 3.5 billion video views to date. Their platinum-selling 2001 album Iowa was named among The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time, and they’ve been called the “most important heavy band of their era.”
