‘Wrestle Dynasty’ will go head-to-head with NXT show in Boston
New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced their return to New York, with ‘Wrestle Dynasty’ taking place inside the hallowed halls of Madison Square Garden.
This show will take place of August 22nd, meaning it is running on SummerSlam weekend and will go head-to-head with NXT TakeOver Boston, which is (roughly) a three-hour drive away from New York where New Japan will be having their shows.
This leaves fans spoiled for choice that week, as it appears SummerSlam is now becoming another huge weekend for the wrestling industry as a whole.
NJPW last hosted a show in Madison Square Garden last year, when they teamed up with Ring of Honor for G1 Supercard.
They have also announced the dates for this years G1 Climax. It will take place between September 19th and October 20th. It normally takes place between July and August, but it has been moved back due to the Toyko Olympics.
