Sugiura-Gun or Sugiura Army debuted on March 10, 2019. The stable was formed by Kazma Sakamoto, Nosawa Rongai, and Takashi Sugiura. It was natural that Takashi Sugiura would be appointed as leader of this stable in Pro-Wrestling NOAH.

    NOAH: Introduction to Sugiura-Gun

    The Formation of Sugiura-Gun

    On February 24, 2019, Takashi Sugiura, Akitoshi Saito, Masao Inoue, Yoshiki Inamura, and Kinya Okada won an elimination match, this would force Hooligans to disband. Kazma Sakamoto would issue a challenge to Takashi Sugiura. The match would take place on March 10, 2019 at Great Voyage in Yokohama. Takashi Sugiura would win. The two would be joined backstage by Nosawa Rongai. This would be the start of the new stable. Kazma Sakamoto and Nosawa Rongai would gain the trust of Takashi Sugiura. Leading to their team up for Global Tag League. Rongai would make the announcement, the name of the new stable would be Sugiura-Gun.

    Hideki Suzuki & The Mitsuharu Misawa Memorial Show

    Hideki Suzuki would be announced as the next member of Sugiura. On the finals of the tournament Takashi Sugiura would complete the tournament with five wins. Allowing him to advance to the finals. After defeating Hajime Ohara in a match. He would also join the new stable.

    Sugiura would challenge for the GHC Heavyweight Championship. He was unsuccessful his challenge was not accepted. Later, Sakamoto and Sugiura faced the GHC Tag Team Champions AXIZ. They defeated the tag champions and would be named the new GHC Tag Team Champions. Kazushi Sakuraba would be announced as the newest member on July 28, 2019, at the 2019 Global Junior League Tournament.

    Feud with KONGOH

    Sugiura started fighting with Kenoh and his KONGOH stable at the 2019 N-1 Victory tour. Leading to a Twitter feud between the two. Sugiura to make a shirt of a canine to taunt him. Kenoh defeated Takashi Sugiura in the final on September 16. Sugiura-gun would organize their own event on December 27. The event took place at Korakuen Hall. During this time Kazuyuki Fujita would be introduced as part of the stable. Sugiura would become the inaugural GHC National Champion, at NOAH the Best. On December 27, 2019, Sugiura-gun held their event, at this event KONGOH attacked the stables members. KONGOH would be challenged at the event and they would be defeated by Sugiura-gun. March 22 and March 26,2019, Sugiura-gun was joined by mixed martial artist Hideki Sekine and Rene Dupree. On April 18, 2020 Seiki Yoshioka was uncovered as a new member. Dupree and Wagner won the GHC Tag Team Championship. They would defeat Masaaki Mochizuki and Naomichi Marufuji. On December 27, 2020, Nosawa revealed the latest member of the stable, Kazunari Murakami. December 29 at the Korakuen Hall. MMA fighter Daisuke Nakamura was announced as Sugiura-gun latest member.

    On January 25, 2021, Tokyo Sports stated that Suzuki would be leaving Japan. This would be his departure from Sugiura-gun.
