With Homicide and Eddie Kingston still on the warpath, this week’s NWA Powerrr is going to be a bumpy ride.

James Storm interrupts Jim Cornette and Joe Galli to open the show and is quickly followed by Colt Cabana who makes it clear that he wants his rematch for the NWA National Heavyweight Championship. Eli Drake and Nick Aldis also join the discussion and a Six Man Tag is made for the main event. If Team Storm wins then he relinquishes his title but gets a shot at Aldis’ World Title, if Team Aldis wins then Colt Cabana gets a shot at James Storm.

Trevor Murdoch Defeated Jocephus Via Pinfall

Despite Jocephus attacking Murdoch before the bell, this one was all Murdoch. It was a short yet impactful match that nonetheless connected with the crowd, especially when Murdoch kicked the foot powder into Jocephus’ face in a call back to the last episode.

A video airs hyping the imminent debut of Thunder Rosa.

Aron Stevens comes out for an interview and speaks about his upcoming movie, Tropical Pirates. He is quickly interrupted by Ricky Starks who slaps him across the face. A match is made for later in the night.

The Dawsons Defeated Homicide and Eddie Kingston Via Pinfall

Homicide and Kingston jumped the giant brothers before the bell and kicked off a wild brawl. The highlight was Eddie Kingston seeling his injured hand to the point where it genuinely looked useless to him.

Marti Belle talks about her match coming up next as well as her friendship with Allysin Kay. Her sights are set on challenging for the NWA Women’s Championship.

Ashley Vox Defeated Marti Belle Via Pinfall

Not too much to write home about here but a perfectly acceptable showing from the two ladies. Allysin Kay appeared to be in Belle’s corner though that relationship looks destined to fracture. Vox won after reversing Belle’s finisher attempt into a Jackknife Cover.

Thunder Rosa debuted after the match and offered Belle a handshake. Belle refused and left the ring.

Ricky Starks Defeated Aron Stevens Via Pinfall

In the most athletic match on the card, Ricky Starks showed why he may well become the MVP of NWA. Steven’s got plenty of heat on him but ultimately Starks scored the win with a roll-up.

Nick Aldis, Colt Cabana, and Ken Anderson Defeated James Storm, and Wildcard Via Pinfall (Cabana Pins Thomas Latimer)

The match that served as the framework for the entire episode saw Colt Cabana guarantee himself a shot at James Storm’s title. All six men got their big moves in in what was otherwise an unremarkable match. Cabana pinned Latimer with a Superman Pin after Aldis hit him with a modified side slam.
