Kongoh could be considered a heel stable in Pro-Wrestling NOAH. They are wicked and have a rebellious spirit in their approach to their in-ring style. The stable was formed on May 4, 2019. Consisting of the members Yoshiki Inamura, Atsushi Kotoge, Kenoh, and Masa Kitamiya. The leader of the stable is Kenoh.
The Formation of Kongoh
The development of the stable came as a rebellion against NOAH’s administrator LIDET Entertainment. On March 10 at Great Voyage in Yokohama, Kaito Kiyomiya requested that Kenoh be his accomplice for the approaching Global Tag League, in which he agreed. He labeled their team “KAIOH”. Kiyomiya and Kenoh participated in the 2019 Global Tag League, they did not succeed in that tournament. Kenoh who was envious and resentful of Kiyomiya. Quickly disbanded their group, expressing that Kiyomiya had been informed by LIDET Entertainment what was considered acceptable behavior. Not what Pro-Wrestling NOAH would have considered.
On May 4, Kenoh and Kitamiya lost, ending their feud with Kiyomiya and Maybach Taniguchi. Atsushi Kotoge and Inamura would then enlist with Kenoh and Kitamiya to form the stable “KONGOH”. Debuting on May 11, 2019.
KONGOH means Diamonds.
In July 27, 2019, Kotage announced his departure from the stable and he would continue his conquest. In performing as a junior heavyweight. Kenoh and Kitamiya partook in the 2019 N-1 Victory. Kenoh began clashing with the Sugiura-gun stable. This would spiral into a twitter feud between the two stables. On September 16, 2019, Kenoh would defeatTakashi Sugiura in the finals winning the 2019 N-1 Victory. KONGOH created its own event at the Shinkiba 1stRing on November 24, 2019. The stable was warned by LIDET Entertainment of the repercussions of the event not being a success. The consequence would be that KONGOH would have to disband and Kenoh would leave Pro-Wrestling NOAH.
1stRing and the Feud with Sugiura-gun
Kitamitya began feuding with Sugiura-gun’s leader Takashi Sugiura. On December 3, KONGOH faced Sugiura-gun members Kazuyuki Fujita, Hideki Suzuki, and Takashi Sugiura. December 14, KONGOH produced the event at Shinkiba 1stRing. The event sold out. Announcing two new members Hi69 and Yuki Sato. On December 27, KONGOH attacked and bloodying Takashi Sugiura, at Sugiura-gun’s produced event. Suzuki attacked Kenoh on January 2, 2020. The next day Haoh and Nioh were attacked by two masked men. The masked wrestlers would be revealed as Nosawa Rongai and Sugiura-gun. Manabu Soya was announced as the newest member on April 19, 2020.
KONGOH would make their debut for DDT Pro-Wrestling on May 30, 2020 as part of CyberAgent’s agreement.
On December 26, 2020, the stable produced their next event known as Diamond 3 and was set at Korakuen Hall.
