AEW World Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega takes the #1 spot ahead of WWE’s Head of the Table, Roman Reigns in the PWI 500 2021. For AEW’s second year in the PWI, they have regained the crown but do have less in the Top 10 this year.

WWE holds numerous spots, however, with Roman Reigns, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Finn Balor

Kota Ibushi, Will Ospreay, and Shingo Takagi represent New Japan Pro Wrestling, whilst Rich Swann is the lone “Independent” Star, mostly working with Impact Wrestling.

The evaluation period for this year’s PWI 500 is July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021. The criteria for ranking include win-loss record, technical ability, influence on the sport, success against the highest grade of competition, success against the most diverse competition, and activity.
