As previously reported here, ROH & Destination America struck a deal that meant ROH would be airing on the station starting June 3rd, at 8pm & 11pm. The deal was discussed before Discovery Network (Owners of DA) sent out the memo regarding TNAs renewal, and the deal was signed this week. The announcement date of May 27th, was scheduled for a few weeks with both sides being told to keep it a secret.

ROH Tv was originally on Sinclair Affiliates across America, but was often critised for not being in the “Top 10 Markets” such as New York, San Fransico, Los Angeles, Chicago etc. With these deals in place, including one that ROH had finalised with the New England Sports Network (that will go into effect on June 7th and air the ROH Tv Show on Sundays). That same show will air on DA on Wednesdays. Meaning ROH is now on Wednesdays (DA), Saturdays (Sin) and Sundays (NESN, when the Red Sox aren’t playing)

NESN often shows the Boston Red Sox and other sports programs. NESN is in 4 million homes in New England, and five million more that have the tier between DirecTV & DISH who also carry this station.

This puts ROH in the Boston TV Market for the first time. NESN is on the Premium Sports Tier, and is separate to The ROH deal with DA. The deal with Destination American is a short term one and will expire on December 2nd, and is seen as an experiment from DA.

ROH will now air on Destination America (Starting June 3rd), New England Sports Network (Starting June 7th), and its pre-existing Sinclair Affiliates. ROH is now statistically the #2 Wrestling Company in terms of exposure across America.
