Dafabet was launched in 2004 amongst a sea of other betting sites. However, while others have faltered along the way, Dafabet has grown tremendously. The online bookmaker now offers both casino and betting products to punters in India.
When talking about casinos, you will be pleasantly surprised to find games from all of your favourite game providers including Microgaming, Netent and Evolution Gaming. You will be spoilt for choice with well over 3000 slot games and multiple variations of table games including roulette and poker.
When it comes to betting, Dafabet covers all the major sports but particularly for India, they cover the major cricket tournaments such as the Indian Premier League (IPL2021). The one area where Dafabet seems to be lacking is e-sports. The club is not particularly big and at the time of writing only offers odds on eSoccer also referred to as eFootball.
Another area where Dafabet also sometimes pronounced as Defabet is making waves is in the world of sponsorships. Clearly the bookmaker understands that creating a brand name is vital and has there sponsored several professional football clubs and currently serves as the main sponsor of Celtic F.C. and the club partner of Norwich City F.C.
It has now also made its way to the world of cricket after securing sponsorships with Durham and Sussex county teams. The new sponsorships were facilitated by SEM Global and will see the bookmaker’s name featured on the shirts of both teams. The Dafabet logo will feature on the front of their T20 and one day shirts and either side of the collar. The name will also be on display above the player and on the back of the shirt.
John Cruces, the head of sponsorship at Defabet has given a straightforward answer for this recent wave of sponsorships. Cruces has cited the growing importance of cricket and particularly the T20 format as the deciding factor why the bookmaker made its way towards sponsoring cricket teams. As per the bookmaker’s data, cricket is becoming an increasingly popular sport for them and is an area where they would like to grow even further.
Likewise, Chief Executive of Sussex Cricket Rob Andrew is equally delighted with its new sponsorship partner. Andrew explains the decision came in the best possible time for the club which has been hit by financial difficulties due to the pandemic. The new Durham kit was also unveiled by cricketers Ben Stokes and Mark Wood and features the Defabet logo on the back of their T20 shirt.
Moving away from the United Kingdom, Defabet has also made its way into Africa by sponsoring the African Premier League (APL). The APL is all set to start in 2021 and will feature 33 live matches. The competition will provide a platform for the best emerging talent in Kenyan cricket. The APL is being run as a joint venture between NPCA (Nairobi Provincial Cricket Association) and Indian based Dreamcatchers. Puneet Gautam, the director for Dreamcatchers is delighted by the partnership and is all praise for the event being broadcast by Recast. It seems like Defabet is intent on becoming one of the biggest bookmakers in the world with a keen eye on games that are local to each country. Indian punters will no doubt benefit from this as they will have access to a world class platform from which they can place their cricket bets.
