Two of the hottest free agents on the Independent Wrestling scene Matt & Nick Jackson aka “The Young Bucks” have officially signed with Ring Of Honor Wrestling. In a statement from Ring Of Honor the pair were quoted as saying;
“We evaluate the landscape right now, we look around at professional wrestling, and everything is evolving. Tag team wrestling is what we do, and this place [Ring of Honor] has the best tag team division in the world, and we want the best competition,” said Matt Jackson. “We want the best matches. It’s all about quality for us. We call Ring of Honor home; you’ll be seeing a lot of us.”
The innovators of the SUPERKICK PARTY have wrestled regularly in both Ring Of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling respectively since 2009, as well as many smaller local indy shows but the news of their exclusivity deal with ROH can only be a good thing for the fast-growing wrestling company.
Ring Of Honor have confirmed that even though The Bucks will be signed to their company, they will still compete in NJPW as part of the Bullet Club (Too Sweet!) and will be aiming to re-capture the ROH Tag Team Titles to give them their second reign.
On behalf of everyone at TWM News – We look forward to attending plenty more Superkick Parties in ROH! Congrats guys!
