When Steve Maclin made his way to the ring at Rebellion PPV, not only he didn’t have an opponent but he didn’t have a contract either. After an epic battle against the former TNA World Tag Team Champion Mike Santana, Maclin revealed that he signed a new contract with the company and was ready to stay with one goal in mind, becoming World Champion again. “I have a lot of unfinished business here and plan to get back into the TNA World Championship picture,” Maclin said. “I’m very happy to call TNA home.”
Maclin made his pro wrestling debut in 2013 and spent about seven years wrestling for WWE before joining IMPACT Wrestling in June 2021. He has been part of some of the biggest matches in TNA history, including a Barbed Wire Massacre match. Former United States Marine Steve Maclin brings the mayhem to levels never seen before in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling. With an unmatched intensity, Maclin has acquired his target: total dominance.
The highlight match of his career came at Rebellion 2023 PPV April when he defeated KUSHIDA to claim the TNA World Championship for the first time in his career. At Against All Odds, Maclin lost the title to Alex Shelley, ending his reign at 54 days. After some time off, due to an injury, he returned to the Impact Zone as hungry as ever. He feuded with Nic Nemeth, teamed up with The Rascalz, and faced Frankie Kazarian. But his ultimate goal is, and remains, Moose and the TNA World Championship wrapped around his waist.
