*Spoilers ahead. If you haven’t watched the season yet, I suggest you don’t read any further.*

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 is now sadly over.

The finale aired several weeks ago, capping off a season filled with twists and turns. We saw it all, from entertaining challenges to iconic lip syncs. It was memorable for a lot of reasons, so let’s look at the top five moments from All Stars 6!

Just a little disclaimer here, I won’t be including the coronation on this list. If you want to read about that, go check out my other All Stars 6 article here.

Now, start your engines, and may the best moment win!

    5. The Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent Monologues – Episode 11

In the final challenge before the finale, the top five queens had to write monologues about their time as drag queens.

Trinity K. Bonet started things off by explaining how a catfishing incident turned into a heartfelt meeting. Kylie Sonique Love then talked about the first time she did drag, which helped her feel more comfortable with her femininity.

Ginger Minj recalled when her mom fully accepted her as a queer person, with the help of some ruby slippers. Ra’Jah O’Hara remembered a time when tucking went horribly wrong. Finally, Eureka told a funny story about an unfortunate accident she had on stage. While it surely wasn’t fun for her at the time, it helped secure her the win here.

Each story was great in its own way and brought a ton of humor and heart. The queens gave it their all, and it was a nice final challenge before RuPaul crowned a winner.

    4. Hall of Fame Halftime Show – Episode 4

For this challenge, the queens were tasked with taking on the roles of several iconic Super Bowl halftime performers. These included artists such as Steven Tyler, Shakira, Fergie, Madonna, and others.

The role of Beyoncé went to Trinity K. Bonet, who had a tall task ahead of her. She had to break the “Beyoncé Curse”, as queens who impersonated her in the past failed miserably. Thankfully, she rose to the occasion and delivered a performance that would have made the Queen Bey herself proud.

However, the true star this week was fan-favorite, Jan, who portrayed Lady Gaga. She completely personified what Mother Monster was all about on stage, giving a truly epic performance from start to finish. Her hard work paid off, as she picked up her first ever challenge win.

Seeing Jan finally get her redemption was very satisfying. On season 12, she was certain that she was going to win the Rusical challenge, only to be deemed safe. This created the memorable “Jan face-crack” meme, one that Jan smartly monetized. This time around, however, she went from robbed to winner, and rightfully so.

    3. An Iconic Entrance – Episode 3

Some queens just know how to make an entrance.

In episode three, the queens had to create commercials advertising a side hustle. They were split into three teams: Rent-A-Queen, Drag Fixers, and Drag Exorcists. Team Drag Fixers (Ra’Jah O’Hara, Yara Sofia, Trinity K. Bonet, and Pandora Boxx) impressed the judges and were named the top team of the week.

Overall, Trinity was named the challenge winner and earned a chance to battle a lip sync assassin. When the time came for the assassin to be announced, however, no one was standing behind the mystery wall. That is until we heard a very familiar catch phrase: “Oh y’all wanted a twist, eh?”.

Then, out of nowhere, Laganja Estranja fell from the heavens and landed into a split. She went on to beat Trinity and reveal who the group voted to eliminate, which turned out to be Silky Nutmeg Ganache.

Before the lip sync even began, Laganja already wowed the queens, judges, and everyone tuning in. Her entrance will certainly go down as one of the most iconic entrances in Drag Race herstory.

    2. The Tie – Episode 7

Perhaps the most shocking moment of the season came during episode seven.

The queens, split into two teams, had to write lyrics and learn choreography for “Show Up Queen”. Trinity shined again and was named the winner of the challenge. Jan and Pandora Boxx, however, failed to impress the judges and landed in the bottom two.

This week’s lip sync assassin was Alexis Mateo, who ended up beating Trinity in the ensuing battle. Alexis revealed that the group voted for Pandora to go home. However, before Ru could tell Pandora to sashay away, Alexis revealed that the group also voted for Jan.

For the first time in Drag Race herstory, there was a tie. This meant that, per All Star rules, the power went back to the top all-star of the week, Trinity. She revealed that she chose Jan to go home, thus eliminating her from the competition.

It was sad to see Jan go, but it made for an extremely entertaining episode. Who knows when we’ll see another tie, but it certainly won’t be as memorable as the first.

    1. Rudemption Lip Sync Smackdown – Episode 10

Without a doubt, the best moment from All Stars 6 was the long-awaited game within a game.

It all started when the first queen, Serena ChaCha, sashayed away. As she packed up and was ready to leave the Werk Room, RuPaul stopped her and revealed that she wasn’t done just yet. This continued after each queen’s elimination up until episode ten, when we finally learned Ru’s plan.

As the remaining queens continued to compete, the eliminated queens were battling each other for a chance to return to the competition. They took part in a gauntlet throwdown, moving on if they won that week’s lip sync. Jiggly Caliente kicked things off by beating Serena in the first round. She then went up against Silky Nutmeg Ganache, who defeated her.

Silky went on to defeat Yara Sofia, Scarlett Envy, Jan, and Pandora Boxx. The only eliminated queen she didn’t beat was A’Keria C. Davenport, who chose not to participate. Then came the final round, where Silky took on Eureka. In the end, Eureka prevailed and returned to the competition.

While many fans grew impatient with Ru’s constant “game within a game” teases, it was worth the wait. It was one of the most entertaining moments of the season, and something fans are still talking about.

(Honorable mentions: Snatch Game of Love, Bianca Del Rio’s fake out/Ginger Minj vs. Mayhem Miller lip sync, Ra’Jah O’Hara vs. Brooke Lynn Hytes lip sync, “This is Our Country” finale challenge, Side Hustle challenge)
