Born on June 6, 1977, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Nim Vind emerged from the vibrant Vancouver music scene, drawing influence from punk rock, goth, and horror aesthetics. His music blends dark, atmospheric themes with melodic punk rock energy, creating a distinctive sound that appeals to fans of both gothic and punk subcultures.

    Nim Vind began his musical journey with the band Mr. Underhill, which he formed with his brothers Robbie and Anthony Kirkham. The band gained a local following and released an album titled “Prepare to Reactivate” in 1998. After the band dissolved, Chris Kirkham adopted the moniker Nim Vind and embarked on a solo career. His debut solo album, “The Fashion of Fear,” was released in 2005 and received positive reviews for its unique blend of horror punk and rock influences. The album features standout tracks like “Killing Saturday Night” and “The 21st Century.”
