Venom: Let There Be Carnage release date has been announced for June 25, 2021. The original release date was for October 2, 2020. However, the release of the film was delayed due to the pandemic.
The film was set to follow Morbius starring Jared Leto. That film was delayed as well.
The details of the film’s plot is yet to be released but the film was in the mid editing process.
Producer Matt Tolmach Comments on Plot:
“The heart of Venom was always the relationship between Eddie and Venom. These two characters, these two sides that had to figure out how to live together and that were somehow better together than they were separately, or more successful, and what that meant.”-Matt Tolmach | CINEMABLEND
Andy Serkis Comments:
“I can’t tell you any ideas right now. I’m in the beginning stages, but I have some very clear ideas about what I want to see visually, and how we can take the characters to another dimension.”- Andy Serkis | IGN
Along with Venom 2 several other films were announced for new dates such as F9 and Minions 2.
It is also rumored that Tom Holland will appear in the film. However, we can not confirm or deny the rumor.
