TEST VS SHANE McMAHON (1999)
Forgotten because the WWE don’t like to remind people that wrestlers die too young (and possibly also because Shane had the temerity to walk away from the WWE business) there is no way I’m suggesting that this match was a technical tour de force but this “Love Her or Leave Her Greenwich Streetfight” was a blast. It seemed at the time as if Andrew “Test” Martin had the world at his feet and as irritating as Shane’s actions could be (and I’m not just talking in kayfabe terms) during his on-screen career you cannot deny that he was one gutsy son of a gun when he stepped into the squared circle. Anarchic fun with some jaw-dropping moments.
