EDGE VS LANCE STORM (2001)
From a time when the WWF Vs WCW & ECW war was in full swing, SummerSlam 2001 was one hell of a show and it kicked off with this tidy little encounter. Edge was showing he had singles potential around now, whilst Lance Storm was always one hell of a worker, despite the counter-productive “boring” gimmicks the WWF fostered upon him during his tenure there. The two friends were out there on one of the biggest stages there is and they delivered a cracking match. There is still a place for two evenly matches competitors going out there and putting on a show.
