WWE announced today that the 16th December, 2015 NXT UK show from the SSE Arena in London will be an NXT Takeover special and will air live on the WWE Network.

    In a post on twitter, WWE COO, Paul “Triple H” Levesque said:

    If you can’t be in the UK in person to see @WWENXT take over, #NXTLondon will be LIVE only on @WWENetwork 12/16.

    This marks the first ever live worldwide broadcast of WWE programming from the UK, and is the first live UK broadcast since WWF Insurrextion 2002, which aired live on Sky Box Office. WWF SummerSlam 1992 was aired live only in the UK, and aired the next day in the US on tape-delay.

    It’s also the first ever international NXT broadcast.

    WWE released the following statement on their website:

    The WWE Network special from London is the culmination of NXT’s UK TakeOver Tour, a seven-night tour across England, Scotland and Wales featuring the next generation of Superstars and Divas. The tour begins on Dec. 10 in Newcastle and makes stops in Glasgow, Sheffield, Blackpool, Nottingham and Cardiff before NXT’s first-ever international broadcast from London.

    The NXT Live UK Tour makes the following stops:

    Dec 10th; Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle
    Dec 11th; SSE Hydro, Glasgow
    Dec 12th; Sheffield Arena, Sheffield
    Dec 13th; Emperess Ballroom, Blackpool
    Dec 14th; Capital FM Arena, Nottingham
    Dec 15th; Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff
    Dec 16th; SSE Arena, London (LIVE NXT TAKEOVER)

    Tickets for the NXT tour of the United Kingdom will go on sale this Friday, Aug. 28 at 9 a.m. GMT through Ticketmaster.co.uk or Ticketmaster Charge By Phone by calling 0844 844 0444. Customers outside the UK can call +44 161 385 3211.
