Brock Lesnar has been synonymous with winning championships in WWE ever since he first appeared in the company in 2002, but when he pinned Big E at Day One this year, The Beast began his ninth world title reign in the company. Lesnar’s career has spanned over 20 years, with a break in the middle for American Football and UFC and has been littered with success throughout. The Beast continues to claim world championships at 44-years-old, but it all began at 25 for the ‘Next Big Thing’… Here is Every Best Brock Lesnar Championship Win!

Brock Lesnar WWE Championship Wins : Summerslam 2002 vs The Rock

Lesnar defeated Hulk Hogan to become the number one contender for The Rock’s WWE Undisputed Championship. In the main event of what is considered as one of WWE’s greatest pay-per-views, or premium live events, of all time, The Next Big thing became world champion for the first time. Lesnar dominated the Great One for the majority of the match as WWE established the young star, becoming the youngest ever WWE Champion.

Paul Heyman would take a Rock Bottom through the announcer’s table but Lesnar would kick out of one before hitting a Rock Bottom of his own and an F5 to claim the WWE Undisputed Championship.

Brock Lesnar WWE Championship Wins : Wrestlemania XIX vs Kurt Angle

Brock Lesnar would be on the chase for his second WWE Championship after winning the 2003 Royal Rumble, with Kurt Angle in the Beasts sights.

The match was the first time that the main event of Wrestlemania was contested between two people using their actual names, but also represented a change in the industry, with an appreciation of the technical ability in the ring ever-growing.

In the build the match was in doubt, with Kurt Angle’s neck causing the Olympic gold medallist problems, leading to the excellent Eric Angle twin magic moment. Despite being an excellent match between two of the best to ever do it, the match will always be remembered for the horrific moment when Lesnar botched what was supposed to be a match-winning moonsault, landing on his neck and being lucky to survive it.

Lesnar would somehow get up to hit a third F5 of the match and win the WWE Championship in the main event of his first Wrestlemania.

    Brock Lesnar WWE Championship Wins
Smackdown 60-minute Iron Man Match vs Kurt Angle

Lesnar would lose the WWE Championship at Survivor Series to the Big Show after a betrayal from Paul Heyman. Lesnar and Show would face-off, with Angle thrown into the mix at Vengeance, with the Olympic Gold Medallist reclaiming the belt.

The match promised to be one of the greatest matches to happen on Smackdown and it most certainly delivered, displaying the full excellence of both men, with the heel-face dynamic switched for the match. Angle would fight back, eventually hitting an Angle Slam to pull the match back to 3-2.

Lesnar looked to be in trouble in the Ankle Lock, but he rolled Angle into the referee, allowing the Beast to hit Angle with the belt and earn a fourth fall. Lesnar would then take a three fall lead with a huge superplex to make it 5-2.

Angle would have to fight back once again, hitting a superplex of his own with 10 minutes to go to make it 5-3 before an Ankle Lock pulled him within one fall with four minutes to go.

With 20 seconds to go Angle got Lesnar in the Ankle Lock once again, needing the Beast to tap to tie the match and retain his WWE Championship, but the Beast held strong to reclaim the belt for his third reign. This would be Lesnar’s final title win before leaving WWE in 2004.

Brock Lesnar WWE Championship Wins : Summerslam 2014 vs John Cena

10 years after his final WWE Championship reign, Brock Lesnar returned to the title picture against John Cena in the main event of Summerslam 2014.

The match opened with a breath-stealing F5 after 30 seconds, but it would only be a near fall for the Beast. The match would see the birth of Suplex City, for better or worse, with the Beast hitting John Cena with 16 suplexes over the course of the match.

The match would also be the birth of an incredible gif, with Lesnar mocking the Undertaker’s sit up after defeating the Streak. Cena would get Lesnar in the STF, but Lesnar would eventually win with his second F5 to win the belt once again.

Brock Lesnar WWE Championship Wins : Wrestlemania 33 vs Goldberg

After being beaten by Goldberg at Survivor Series 2016 in just 1:26, Lesnar sought revenge, challenging Universal Champion at Wrestlemania 33. Lesnar faced Goldberg in his final match in WWE before departing in 2004, stinking up the joint at Wrestlemania 20 in a much-resented match.

But the two men learned from this failure and gave the fans an electrifying match, with 5:55 of the two men just hitting their biggest moves and playing the hits. Lesnar hit Goldberg with three suplexes immediately, but the former WCW Champion quickly retorted with three spears of his own, immediately setting the tone of the match.

After a fourth spear, Lesnar would kick out of Goldberg’s Jackhammer, before leapfrogging a spear to regain control. Lesnar would make it 10 German Suplexes before hitting the F5 to claim the Universal Championship for the first time in his career, but it would most certainly not be the last.

This would begin Lesnar’s mammoth title reign, holding the belt for 504 days, the longest reign until Roman Reigns recently overtook it.

Brock Lesnar Championship Wins : Crown Jewel 2018 vs Braun Strowman

Lesnar lost the belt to Roman Reigns at Summerslam 2018, but Reigns would vacate the belt after just 64 days, announcing his Leukemia diagnosis. The Beast would face Braun Strowman for the vacant title, a match that was supposed to be a Triple Threat involving the Big Dog.

Then attacking General Manager Baron Corbin, god these were dark days, attacked Strowman with the belt before the match. Strowman still competed and was immediately hit with three F5’s, all resulting in near falls.

Lesnar hit a fourth F5 on the outside but Strowman was able to beat the count, but a fifth F5 in the centre of the ring would put Strowman away. This represented an incredibly frustrating result on an already bizarre card, with Shane McMahon becoming ‘The Best in the World’ and THAT DX vs Brothers of Destruction match.

Brock Lesnar Championship Wins : Extreme Rules 2019 vs Seth Rollins

Lesnar held the belt for another 156 days before dropping the title to Seth Rollins in a barnstorming opener at Wrestlemania 35.

But Lesnar would go on to win the Money in the Bank contract just a month later, giving birth to boombox Brock. The Beast teased cashing in on both Universal Champion Seth Rollins and WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, little did we know, he brought both reigns to an end.

But Brock would use his contract to cash in on Rollins at Extreme Rules 2019 following the match between himself and Becky Lynch vs Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans, with both the Universal Title and the Raw Women’s Championship on the line. After Rollins and Lynch retained, Lesnar cashed in his briefcase, two German Suplexes and an F5 later and Brock Lesnar was Universal Champion for the third time.

Brock Lesnar Championship Wins : Smackdown debuts on Fox vs Kofi Kingston

I wasn’t looking forward to reliving this one… Brock Lesnar was set to face Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship in the main event of the first Smackdown on Fox. Many feared that this would be the end of Kingston’s reign, but few people predicted it would come to an end the way it did.

Kingston jumped at Lesnar right out of the gates and was immediately caught and hit with an F5. Lesnar was WWE Champion once again after just 10 seconds. After an incredibly emotional moment at Wrestlemania 35 where Kofi Kingston became the first African American WWE Champion, many felt burnt by this moment.

This all led to the debut of Lesnar’s former UFC rival Cain Velasquez appearing, flanked by Rey Mysterio, setting up Velasquez’s only WWE match at Crown Jewel 2019.

Brock Lesnar Championship Wins : Day 1 vs Big E, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley

This leads us to Brock Lesnar’s most recent championship victory. Lesnar was added to the WWE Championship Fatal Fourway after his Universal Championship match with Roman Reigns was cancelled following Reigns contracting Covid. The match followed the high paced tempo of some of Lesnar’s more notable matches, with all five men hitting their big moves.

Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins worked together to take out Lesnar, but they couldn’t keep the Beast down. Lesnar would hit Owens and Rollins both with F5’s before Bobby Lashley appeared, hitting the Beast with a Spear before getting him in the Hurt Lock.

Big E would save his championship by breaking the submission and hitting Lashley with the Big Ending but would face the same fate his New Day brother did, taking an F5 from the Beast to end his reign…
