WWE Hall Of Famer, “Bullet” Bob Armstrong has died at age 80. His sons Scott and Brian confirmed on Twitter.

    Born as Joseph James, Armstrong began his wrestling career in the 1960s after serving in the US Marine Corps. Armstrong achieved remarkable success and became a household name in the south. Armstrong wrestled for companies that included NWA and its affiliates. While later on in his career he would make appearances for TNA (Impact).

    Armstrong would go on to win many championships in his career. He won the NWA National Tag Team Championships with his son Brad. Armstrong won countless championships in many NWA affiliates.

    Armstrong was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011 by his sons. During his speech, Armstrong had said he got to live his dream. He wound up passing on that dream to his sons, all of whom he trained and in some cases teamed up with in the ring.
