According to Game Biz, WWE has dissolved Japan GK, which was the company’s Japanese division. Yesterday (September 1st), all employees (meaning investors) agreed. It was revealed in the “Public Notice of Dissolution” published in the “Government Bulletin” dated today (September 2nd).

It is a Japanese corporation established by the American professional wrestling organization “WWE”, which was running the Japan business, but the “WWE Live Japan” show scheduled for July 2-4 this year was cancelled due to the pandemic.

They’ve not run a live event in Japan since June 2019. The company typically makes an annual trip to Japan, but the pandemic prevented travel in 2020 and 2021. There is no plans for another trip in the foreseeable future.
