WWE RAW superstar Jeff Hardy, who was scheduled for a personal appearance tomorrow at the recordBar in Kansas City, Missouri, has been forced to postpone his appearance to a later date after testing positive for COVID-19.
Jeff recently returned to RAW and defeated the NXT Champion Karrion Kross, whilst re-debuting his old-singles theme “No More Words”.
The announcement from recordBar reads, “We regret to inform you that the event with Jeff Hardy to take place on Monday, July 26, 2021, at recordBar in Kansas City, MO will have to be postponed to a later date. Jeff Hardy just tested positive for COVID this morning, and will have to quarantine for the next two weeks, and will not be participating in any live events for the next two weeks. For now, all tickets will be held to await a rescheduled date. Once the new date is announced, if you cannot attend the new date, please e-mail info@leopresents.com for a refund. You will receive another e-mail from us when the new date is announced.”
Speaking of Jeff Hardy, the segment featuring Karrion Kross cutting a promo about Samoa Joe before escaping when Joe came out to confront him, was eventually shot again at the end of the night due to fans chanting for Jeff Hardy.
According to the report, the NXT crew members lied to fans to keep them in the building for the re-shoot. A source said: “They even lied to us and said something special was going to happen so we wouldn’t leave. [A Crew Member] told me the show wasn’t over. When [we] tried to leave, he told us there was a surprise.“
