WCW Uncensored 1996 – Mega Powers vs. The Alliance

When the Network dropped in the US, this was one of the first matches I watch. Why? Because it is ludicrously insane beyond words. Basically, it boils down to Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage against the combined forces of the Four Horsemen and the Dungeon of Doom in an over gimmicked cage match. It is so over booked and confusing that the announce team can’t keep the participants straight and never seems sure of the victory conditions.
Everything about it is ridiculous – and that’s why it’s such a great watch. It’s like a big budget blockbuster movie that spends everything on cast and special effects but nothing on the script and ends up as a train wreck you can’t look away from.
It’s truly a one-of-a-kind spectacle; you’re never going to see anything like that again, and that’s why you should check it out.
