Beyond The Ring: Triple H – Thy Kingdom Come
(Chosen by Walter Scott)
While WWE Countdown is a great, fun show that us fans can vote on, Beyond the Ring is another Original Series that I truly enjoy. This, however, replays documentaries of WWE Superstars released on DVD at WWEDVD.co.uk and throughout other stores and sites such as Amazon, Best Buy, and so many others. I haven’t yet seen every documentary, but the ones I watched were pretty incredible and kept me entertained throughout the entire thing. The one that I enjoyed the most may be a biased choice, it was Triple H’s, as he is my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE history.
This documentary takes you all the way back to when Triple H was a five-year-old boy playing around in his living room, as his father enters the room and turns on the TV to a Chief Jay Strongbow match which instantly catches the attention of Triple H and makes him stop, sit, and watch. It goes on to talk about how he broke into the business, got a job in WCW, and would later jumpsuit to WWE after wanting to work more days to hone his craft and truly become one of the all-time greats in the wrestling industry.
It talks about his rise to the top of the WWE mountain with multiple WWE World Heavyweight Championship reigns, how he recovered from injuries, and how he got his job as WWE Chief Operating Officer. It’s truly a great documentary, to any fan of Triple H out there, I’m sure you will enjoy this and learn more about The Game.
