WWE has unexpectedly released several notable individuals on September 21, 2023. Below is the list of the superstars who were let go from WWE, including Elias!
AJ “Top Dolla” Francis’ departure from WWE was first verified by Frightful Select. His final television appearance was a loss to LA Knight on the August 11 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. No News as of this post regarding the rest of the Hit Row.
Elias has been let go by WWE. He began his WWE journey in 2014 as a member of the NXT roster. His last appearance was in a Battle Royal on the May 15, 2023, episode of Monday Night Raw.
Aliyah also made her release public on social media. Aliyah’s final WWE match took place on the September 12, 2022, episode of WWE Raw, where she and Raquel Rodriguez lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships to Damage CTRL (IYO SKY & Dakota Kai).
Dabba-Kato has also been let go by WWE. His last appearance in the wrestling ring was during the September 5th episode of NXT, where he suffered a defeat at the hands of Tyler Bate. His first appearance on WWE television took place during the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble event held in Saudi Arabia. He went by the names Commander Azeez & Babatunde also.
Shanky was also removed from WWE. His most recent match occurred at WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023 event, where he faced Gunther for the Intercontinental Title and suffered a loss.
