Quinn Smith – Team B+ Players

Survivor Series is little under a month away and with that, comes the excitement of the 5 on 5 elimination tag match. This match over the years has presented us with memorable victories, as well as catapulting careers. Given the task of being able to choose my own dream team, many thoughts come to mind. Truth be told, picking simply just one is almost impossible to make just ONE team. So, here are my dream teams (yes, plural!)

    TEAM B+ PLAYERS

    Chris Jericho
    Daniel Bryan
    Cesaro
    Dolph Ziggler
    Bad News Barrett

    B Players Survivor

I’M AFRAID I’VE GOT SOME BAD NEWWWWWS, for whoever faces B+ Players. This team is comprised of superstars that the authority deemed, deems or will deem to be a B+ player. Regardless, all individuals involved are top tier athletes and revered by the IWC. We want them as champions. We see them for their raw talent, but let’s break this down.

    Chris Jericho – Captain

Not at hard choice at all for captaincy. Jericho is a bonafide veteran and would be legend and had his career catapult at a much faster rate. This is to not take away from Jericho’s exceptional work in ECW, WCW and ultimately WWF/E. He’s arguably one of the best superstars to interact with the fans on a personal level either making them love him or absolutely despise him. Anytime he has the mic, people listen. His traits make him a perfect leader and he would ultimately lead his team into a hard-fought victory.

    Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan is the epitome of the “Never give up” attitude in a superstar. We watched him chase the prestigious championship that’s eluded his grasp for a long 8-months. In that time frame, we’ve witnessed brutal beat downs given to him, from various sources and every single time, he’s risen back up and came back stronger. Momentum was an all-time high for him upon finally winning the championship at WrestleMania, only to unfortunately suffer an injury that’s cost him the title and months of inactivity.

His attitude is why this team would succeed. He finds the capability to pull it off in big time scenarios and where they mean most. He’d find the will to make it happen in this match.

    Cesaro

He’s arguably the dark horse of the match and one that could very well pull off the winning pin for the match. Cesaro is truly a freak of nature. His raw strength alone sets him apart from other superstars and what he’s capable of in the ring is nothing short of absolutely remarkable. He can hit you with that very European Uppercut “FROM OUTTA NOWHERE” (seriously, we haven’t viewed a Cesaro vine yet, it’s shocking) Cesaro is one of the toughest competitors to date and with his talent and agility in the ring, I firmly believe he would be left as either the sole survivor or one of a couple survivors left, IF there were any eliminations from this team. Look for highlight reel ending finish that’s brought to you by Cesaro’s uppercut.

    Dolph Ziggler

Pound for pound, one of the best wrestlers on the market today. While he doesn’t have the strength of certain stars like Cesaro or that freak known as something Cena, maybe you’ve heard of him I’m not sure. Regardless, Ziggler’s in-ring presence and skill is comparable to top tier athletes. He’s an exceptionally good wrestler and he can even make you look amazing in the ring (seriously, go YouTube Ziggler Monkey Flip, he makes that look like a damn finisher.) He has an arsenal of match-ending finishers ranging from superkicks (which are arguably some of the best in the recent years) to sleeper holds to his patented Zigzag. While this team is full of amazing athletes, IF there had to be an elimination, I’d have to throw my man Ziggler in there. He’d most likely be eliminated after he himself had eliminated someone else.

    Bad News Barrett

We all miss Barrett, don’t we? Just when it seemed that he was on a roll with momentum he goes and gets injured again. WHY CAN’T THE WRESTLING GODS JUST GIVE US BARRETT AND WE WILL GIVE YOU CAMERON AND KHALI?!

*Clears Throat* Sorry, where was I? Oh ya, kissing Barrett’s ass for being an unreal worker in-ring and on the mic. Much like Cesaro, Barrett would be another dark horse of the match and very well could also end up being a lone survivor, or survivor with Cesaro among others. His brawler like style would be too tough for other teams to handle. His bull-hammer elbow has demolished individuals in the past and I can only assume it’s capable of slaying giants. All it takes is one hit and the next thing everyone hears is a 3-count.

    Conclusion

This team kicks ass and if you don’t agree there’s a Codebreaker, Running Knee, Very European uppercut, Zigzag/Superkick and Bull-Hammer elbow just waiting for you.

Actually though, I feel confident with this group and how they’re destined to win, based on always being told they can’t or through other adversities. Below is a list of other team ideas I had but decided to go with the B+ Players.
