Survivor Series in my eyes is always an awesome PPV that produces some of the most intriguing “Traditional” Survivor Series matches that one could think of. Depending on the scenario and size of the match, you could see an unlikely pairing of The Shield and Ryback on the same team, or even the fantasy pairing of The Shield and The Wyatt Family. Survivor Series has always had some of the more interesting PPV events and this match is one of the sole reasons why. Before I begin to bore you with Survivor Series, I’d like to take a moment to let you all in on my very own Dream Team for a Survivor Series Tag Team match. I went with some of the top Superstars of some very big generations in the WWF and WWE, including the very famous Attitude Era. I decided on the team name of “Best for Business” due to the fact that I personally believe all of the members of this team are indeed good for business (despite what the captain of the team thinks of Daniel Bryan). I wanted a team of technicians, all-rounders, brawlers, and even pure perfection, so let’s explain this team in full.

The team captain of this team is an obvious choice judging by the name. You’ve got the 13-time World Champion and multiple-time WrestleMania main eventer Triple H who has lead a Survivor Series team before ready to captain a team of potential Hall of Famers and all around big names in the pro wrestling industry. Triple H has mentored men the likes of Batista and a fellow member in this current team, Randy Orton, to multiple reigns as World Champion and an all around legendary status. Being that he is also the current WWE COO and makes the decisions on Monday Night RAW, it’s practically a no brainer that he is the captain.

What would a brawler as a captain need in order to make his team “Best for Business?” It’s simple, he needs the self-proclaimed Best in the World himself, the now-retired CM Punk. Punk is the longest reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion of the modern era, holding the title from November 2011 until January 2013 for a total of 434 days. He has stepped into the ring with men the likes of John Cena and Edge, and has held his own on the mic against The Rock. Some consider CM Punk to be the total package, and I see no reason to not make him apart of this killer squad that will run through any of the best teams.

As CM Punk has cemented his legacy as a WWE legend despite controversy, I’d also like to add in another current favorite of mine who some would consider overrated. Me, I say he is the best in the business when he’s motivated, he is a 12-time World Champion and former WWE Triple Crown Champion Randy Orton. From his young cocky days as “The Legend Killer” to the current days of “The Apex Predator,” you cannot deny that Randy Orton possesses greatness within his blood being a third-generation WWE Superstar. Not only does he have the genetics, he has the look, and charisma to make everybody wish they were Orton simply by watching him walk to the ring. I chose Randy because while he and Triple H have a storied rivalry in the past, they are most known for their time together in Evolution where Triple H helped guide a 24-year-old Randy Orton to becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. Chemistry in the team means a lot, and this would help out in a bigger way than you can imagine.

The fourth member I chose for this stacked team is the leader of the Yes Movement and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. Now, I understand that this is somewhat unlikely, seeing as how Triple H himself has told Daniel that he is just a solid “B-plus” player. But, this is a Dream Team for a reason. Daniel Bryan is, in my opinion, the Best Wrestler in the World (sorry, CM Punk). He is arguably the greatest technician of his time, and his heart and resilience has shown that he is easily one of the more underrated talents in this generation. Daniel’s passion to make it as a WWE Superstar and his hunger to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion would no doubt make everybody on this team want to perform better just from watching Bryan wrestle alone. This, again, was a no-brainer.

The final member of Team Best for Business is a man who many could say was the most underrated WWF Superstar in the late 1980’s and early 90’s, the late “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig. Hennig was a former Intercontinental Champion and even was the valet of a very young Hunter Hearst Helmsley later on in his career. But, I personally remember him for being a member of the very popular nWo that would open up an era in wrestling that will never be matched again in terms of television ratings, The Monday Night Wars. Now, Hennig was never a World Champion in the WWF or WCW, but he was an AWA World Champion and that gives our final man some experience in a group full of former World Champions. Hennig is also the father of current WWE Superstar Curtis Axel, and would in my opinion make a great addition to this team if his career is based in his prime.

To finish this off, I’d just like to say that Team Best for Business is easily one of the more decorated Survivor Series teams you will see, but with a blend of multiple styles and with over-the-top personalities, I see no reason that this team can prove their name correct and show that they are “Best for Business.”
