They call him the “One and Only”. Ricochet rose to fame with promoters such as Chikara, Evolve, Dragon Gate, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Lucha Underground before joining WWE in January 2018 and immediately establishing himself as one of the company’s top high-flyers .
Born on October 11, 1988 in Alton, Illinois. Trevor Mann, his real name, debuted in the ring precisely on the day he celebrated his 15th birthday, in 2003, at Chaos Pro Wrestling and already with the ring name Ricochet.
After touring NJPW and several North American promoters, winning titles in practically every company he passed through and being named best flying wrestler of the year by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter in 2011, 2014 and 2015, he signed with WWE in January 2018. After winning the NXT North American Championship and Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2019 (alongside Aleister Black) at NXT , he made the jump to the main roster in February 2019. In June of that year he won the United States Championship , but lost the title three weeks later. In 2020 and 2021, something was forgotten, but in 2022 he seems to be launching his career, since he was crowned intercontinental champion in early March.

NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV (August 18, 2018)
NXT North American Championship : Adam Cole (c) vs. Ricochet
On the July 25 episode of NXT, Ricochet confronted Adam Cole and challenged him to a match at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV for the North American Championship , but Cole declined. The following week, a match was even scheduled between the two for the event.

Ricochet ( North American ) vs. Pete Dunne (United Kingdom)
On the August 29 episode of NXT , Pete Dunne and Ricochet teamed up to face The Undisputed Era, but lost due to a miscommunication. Both blamed the other for the defeat, which led to a match between the two, with their respective titles, the NXT North American Championship and the WWE United Kingdom Championship (Pete Dunne), on the line.

NXT North American Championship: Ricochet (c) vs. Adam Cole vs. Pete Dunne
A champion since NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV, Ricochet was facing Pete Dunne (WWE UK Championship holder) on the September 19 episode of NXT when The Undisputed Era (led by Adam Cole ) appeared and attacked both wrestlers.
The following week, NXT General Manager William Regal scheduled a triple threat match between Ricochet, Adam Cole and Pete Dunne with the NXT North American Championship at stake for the October 10 episode.
NXT TakeOver: Phoenix 2019 (January 26)
NXT North American Championship: Ricochet (c) vs. Johnny Gargano
On the December 19, 2018 episode, Johnny Gargano defeated Aleister Black in a Steel Cage match after interference from Tommaso Ciampa.
The following week, Ciampa suggested to Gargano to go after the NXT North American Championship in order for both of them to achieve hegemony in NXT. On the January 9, 2019, episode of NXT, North American champion Ricochet said that if Gargano wants a title shot, although he questioned Gargano if he would ask face-to-face or attack from behind, alluding to Gargano’s attack.
Ciampa appeared and intruded, but was attacked by Black, which distracted Ricochet, who in turn was hit by a Superkick from Gargano. That same night, the match between Ricochet and Gargano for NXT TakeOver: Phoenix was made official.
NXT (February 13, 2019) : Ricochet vs. Adam Cole
Following NXT TakeOver: Phoenix 2019, an event in which Johnny Gargano won the NXT North American Championship that belonged to Ricochet and in which Tommaso Ciampa retained the NXT Championship by defeating Aleister Black , these four wrestlers and Velveteen Dream and Adam Cole engaged in a backstage brawl. Eight days later at Halftime Heat , Black, Rico and Dream beat Cole , Gargano and Ciampa. However, at a time when Ricochet and Adam Cole were aiming for the NXT North American Championship, a match between the two was scheduled for the February 13 episode of NXT.
Extreme Rules 2019
WWE United States Championship: Ricochet (c) vs. AJ Styles
At Stomping Grounds, Ricochet defeated Samoa Joe to win the WWE United States Championship, but after the AJ Styles match, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson interrupted a photo shoot of the new champion to congratulate him. On Raw the following night, Styles beat him in a non-title match. After the duel, Styles and Ricochet showed mutual respect.
A week later, he retained the United States Championship by defeating Styles , but after the feud, Gallows and Anderson went to the ring and taunted Styles, who initially held them back. However, soon after Styles attacked Ricochet, with Gallows and Anderson joining the attack, rallying The Club. However, a new title match was scheduled between Ricochet and Styles for Extreme Rules .
Monday Night Raw (October 21, 2019)
Ricochet vs. Drew McIntyre
On the September 30 episode of Raw, it was announced that Crown Jewel would host a 10-man tag team match between Hulk Hogan’s team and Ric Flair’s team. Ricochet was chosen for Team Hogan, while Drew McIntyre was revealed to be one of the members of Team Flair on the October 21 episode of Raw, moments before facing off against Ricochet.
Monday Night Raw (May 17, 2021)
Ricochet vs. Sheamus
On the WrestleMania Backlash pre-show , Sheamus launched an Open Challenge , but without putting his United States Championship on the line. He accepted the challenge, but was defeated, after a Knee Strike from Celtic Warrior .
During the next day’s episode of Raw , Sheamus was stripped of his clothes, said he knows Ricochet was the one who stole them, and demanded that he return them to him.
Meanwhile, the footage was shown of Ricochet attacking Sheamus and wearing the Irishman’s clothes. Ricochet said he was having fun, having imitated Sheamus before heading to the ring to face him.
Monday Night Raw (July 12, 2021)
Falls Count Anywhere match: Ricochet vs. John Morrison
On the June 21 episode of Raw , Ricochet and John Morrison beat AJ Styles and Randy Orton , respectively, to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder match of the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. A week later, a match between he and John Morrison ended in a double count out . In the following episode, the two clashed again, with John Morrison achieving a count-out victory . On both occasions, The Miz had an influence on the outcome. After two count-out feuds , it was announced that Ricochet and Morrison would face off on Raw the following week, July 12, in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
