Since 1985, WrestleMania has become an institution in the world of pop culture.  The biggest event of the year has brought wrestling into the mainstream and made it a huge part of the world today.

One of the biggest selling points to the non-wrestling world has to be the presentation of the event.  The WWE has had its many downfalls over the past 37 years but the presentation is not one of them. The fireworks, the amazing set designs, and very creative superstar attire are some of the great things the WWE produces to sell WrestleMania.

Another great selling point for the big show is the logo. Being one of the most recognizable brands in the world the WWE needs to have a good-looking logo that draws you into the show. Every year the WWE goes through the process of developing a logo and for the most part they create a great-looking one.

Of course, there are going to be some logos that do not hit the mark as well as the WWE would have hoped.

Below we will take a look at all of these WrestleMania logos and see how they stack up against one another.

    WrestleMania 2

This was very similar to the original logo but with one glaring difference. The neon 2 behind the logo is gawdy looking. It gives you more of a strip club feel than a wrestling show. The WWE should have stuck with the Roman numerals.

    WrestleMania 11

The WWE was not exactly at its height when 11 came around and it showed in the logo. The wording and Roman numerals were there but the background looked like something that anyone could have put together on their computer.  The black and purple cloud was uninspired and not worthy of this prestigious graphic.

    WrestleMania 13

As with 11, the 13th edition of the Show of Shows had a very lacklustre logo. The flames in the background were lazy and added nothing to the logo. It was also disappointing to see them go without the Roman numerals.

    WrestleMania 2000 (16)

While we don’t know for sure, one can assume that this logo was put out there to coincide with WWE’s latest video game.  This is exactly what this logo looks like as well. It looks like a cheap video game logo, not one that should be given to the biggest show of the year.

    WrestleMania 17/18 or X7/X8.

The wording for the logo was great for 18, but the fact that the WWE insisted on calling it X-Eight instead of 18 is terrible. Same with X-Seven. Just stick with calling it a number and stop trying to be edgy or whatever they were going for.
